Welcome to the Connection Requested podcast newsletter by me, Mark Tweddle.
First, I need to be honest. I started this newsletter without any idea of creating a podcast.
I thought I needed to blog.
I thought I would try to use this almost like a journal and only start telling people about it if I managed to do it regularly.
That didn’t happen.
Then, I thought I’d create a podcast as it would be a better medium to show storytelling in action and I had an idea of how I would make that work.
And that stalled too.
But I was much keener on the podcast idea than I was on the newsletter, so I persisted and took Seth Godin’s Akimbo Podcasting Workshop.
And now, at the point I’m finally close to launching the podcast, I realize that the newsletter and the podcast can work together. I don’t want the podcast to be a one-way endeavor, where I broadcast into the ether without a response. So here is where feedback can be received, questions can be posed, and abusive banter moderated!!😀
What is the Connection Requested Podcast?
"Who are these people sending me connection requests on LinkedIn?” That's the thought that started this podcast.
Closely followed by... "Who are the people I have already connected with?"
Join me as I find out who they are through the stories they tell, not by their bio or job descriptions.
